My experience is a blend of storytelling, design, and research. While an undergraduate, I studied interactivity of narrative through different media. I worked on a few notable projects, including a fairy tale generator featured in the New Yorker online, and political greeting cards that have been featured in Newsweek online. I was also a short story finalist in a reputable literary journal’s “Family Matters” competition.
In my professional career, I studied the impact of the arts — how they affected development of urban spaces, and how they impact student and teacher learning in public schools. I’ve been published in peer-reviewed journals, and I’ve spoken at local and national conferences.
As digital entered our everyday social contexts, I shifted my career to UX. Overall, I’ve worked in education, community development, retail, and healthcare. I’ve worked with small social impact labs of 8 people to a Fortune 4 company.
